Turkish, Dutch Foreign Ministers Hold Phone Call on Bilateral Relations

(MENAFN) Türkiye’s foreign minister held a phone conversation with his Dutch counterpart on Tuesday, focusing on bilateral relations as well as preparations for an upcoming NATO gathering, according to Turkish diplomatic sources and reports.

During the call, Hakan Fidan and Tom Berendsen reviewed the current state of relations between Türkiye and the Netherlands and discussed ways to further strengthen cooperation across various diplomatic and security-related areas.

The two ministers also exchanged views on coordination efforts ahead of the NATO Summit, which is expected to bring together alliance members for high-level discussions on regional and global security issues.

According to reports, Türkiye is preparing to host the summit in its capital Ankara on July 7–8, marking a significant diplomatic event for the country within the NATO framework.
